Marine Transfer FamiliarisationModule 1

Objective:

To induct new Users of the equipment .

Course content:

Theory - Covers risks associated with; cranes, vessels, transfer devices, met ocean and weather conditions and  site specific risks. Also covers; operational best practice, overview of required inspection and maintenance procedures.  Emergency usage, including MedEvacs and evacuations.

Practical - Equipment familiarisation, pre-lift inspection checks, passenger loading sequences, harness operation and deck crew responsibilities.  Ideally training will include use of a certified man-riding crane.

Inspection and MaintenanceModule 2

Objective

To induct mechanics and supervisors in the requirements and practice of unit inspection, maintenance and repair.

Course content

Theory - Information on the design, construction and maintenance of Reflex Marine transfer equipment.  Particular focus us is given to critical components.

Practical - Demonstations of inspections for basic/routine servicing tasks using Reflex Marine checklists. Full strip downs of critical components and reassembly. Load testing procedures and guidelines.
