Reflex Marine presented at Windforce 09, The Wind Energy Agency Bremerhaven/Bremen’s (WAB) fifth offshore wind power conference. This is an intimate industry event with over 400 companies joining together to discuss the wind energy sector. Safety was a key focus and 40 international experts gave lectures on personal and equipment safety when working on offshore wind turbines.
David Brittan, Business Development Director, received positive feedback on the product and Reflex Marine’s contribution within this sector.
It was a targeted event for Reflex to attend and it was a great opportunity to discuss wind access. There was also an opportunity to demonstrate the TORO transfer device to key players in this industry.
This unit was then collected by its new owners AG-EMS, an offshore services company providing transport for a project run by Aarsleff-Bilfinger Berger.
Along with meeting new owners AG-EMS, David also met with Hochtief – AG, who are very interested in using a TORO on their operations in the coming months.
This was a positive event for us, as this exposure has lead to a potential fleet deal for an existing client and the possibility of a wind trial in the offshore European sector. We have also had interest from vessel companies who are keen to collaborate with us on access solutions.
