Track Record
The FROG has an unparalleled track record in marine personnel transfers. This serves as testament to the exhaustive research, development and verification programme for the FROGs. There are currently over 450 FROG units in operation with an average time in service of over 4.5 years.
FROG-3
The FROG-3 was first introduced in 1999 and there are now over 400 units in operation worldwide. Due to the design of the unit, the high quality of materials, durability and operational procedures, the FROG-3 has a life span of up to 8 years.
The FROG-3 is currently being used to transfer over a million passengers each year. BP Indonesia alone use their fleet of 12 FROG-3 units to transfer in excess of 120,000 passengers per year.
FROG-6
The FROG-6 was first introduced in 2007 and there are currently over 60 units in operation worldwide. The FROG-6 was created as a result of client feedback and industry demand for a higher capacity, more advanced personnel transfer capsule offering greater levels of protection.
Sakhalin Energy were amongst the first to take delivery of the new higher capacity units. As long term users of the FROG-3 Sakhalin Energy saw the potential to increase efficiency and safety in their operations.

FROG-9
The FROG-9 was first introduced in 2008 as a result of a partnership with SEACOR Marine on their CrewZer class project in the US.
SEACOR’s CHEETAH CrewZer is a 165ft vessel capable of carrying 150 passengers at speeds ranging from 36 to 42 knots. It offers a fast, safe and reliable mode of personnel transportation to and from installations.
SEACOR’s objective for the CrewZer project was to find the safest method of moving passengers on and off offshore platforms without injury or incident. Following an extensive review of a wide range of possibilities, SEACOR selected Reflex Marine as its transfer partner. SEACOR chose Reflex Marine because of our innovative thinking, comprehensive support, and solution-based systems, and the proven track record of the FROG.
